There are still a few sunflowers around at this time of year. Some people plant them later than others and it is nice to see them add color to the landscape. I really haven't posted on this page like I have wanted to. For the past year and a half things haven't been anything close to what I had planned. Sometimes life isn't all beautiful like a sunflower that is for sure. I spent most of last year recovering from a simple surgery that left me unable to stand up or sit down for the most part. Had no idea I would be dealing with that for that length of time. This year started out with a totally different kind of surgery, surgery on my mouth which had me hiding for about six months as much as I could. During that time I sold one print and paid photo work was few and far between. Definitely the slowest time period I have had in a long time. Health wise things are so much better and I am definitely thankful for that. Just got to figure out another plan for my photography. I was paying more for websites than I was taking in so removing some of them was definitely a necessity.
I took this photo because I had absolutely nothing else to do. Definitely not the most beautiful photo you will see, but it was beautiful long enough for relax and focus on something besides the things I didn't need to be thinking about. For a moment it definitely worked. Have a great day/night
