We have just shipped a public discovery layer for the DondeGo API.
DondeGo is a local discovery platform for Barcelona and Madrid, focused on events, places, cultural life, and local news. Our goal is simple: local cultural information should not only live as web pages. It should also be understandable by developers, API tools, newsletters, city guides, and AI assistants.

This is not a huge “platform launch”. It is a careful foundation: a conservative, documented, machine-readable entry point into the verified public API surface.
For now, the API discovery contract covers events, places, news, locations, events of the day, and search. The documentation also explains what we do not support yet. We do not advertise fake OAuth, MCP, WebMCP, or unsupported filters just to look more “agent-ready”. Accurate discovery metadata is more useful than fake capability metadata.
One important rule: any public website, app, newsletter, bot, AI assistant, or partner integration that displays DondeGo event descriptions or substantial DondeGo event data must include a visible direct link to the canonical DondeGo.es event page as the source.
Why this matters:
A city guide can build better local recommendations.
A newsletter can enrich cultural picks.
A developer can explore the API with OpenAPI or Postman.
An AI assistant can use a structured local source instead of guessing.
A partner can understand the attribution rules before building anything.
We are also preparing mobile-friendly JSON surfaces for a future Android MVP, so the app can load rich, ranked event cards quickly from Cloudflare-hosted static feeds.
