CIBO in Italian language means food. I'm a street artist based in Italy and I use the power of art for covering up hate messages with tasty food.
Basically we can say I cover up the bad with the good but the message is deeper.
If we look at food, everything we consider tradition once was innovation and culture contamination. For explaining this I love take "caprese" as example.
Caprese, worldwide, is considered an Italian traditional dish and it as Italian flag colours too. But, if we analyse caprese's history we could be surprised to find out that it's ingredients are not so Italians. In fact, Basil comes from India, Red Tomatoes come from Colombia, Mozzarella is Italian and if you like to have it with a little bit of olive oil (like I do), you should go to Siria.
My food art against hate is a metaphor of life: if you close you borders and your heart to others cultures at the end you'll eat bad!
