Falling shifts with age

Falling shifts with age

Over the course of my life, I have fallen down hills, backward out of the bathtub, down stairs, on sidewalks, and floors. My recent experience at 68 gave me some understanding. I went to a home to pick up some lamps for my daughter and did not see them in the yard.I walked up the front steps and, for no apparent reason, fell down.

My left elbow had a large scrape, and X-rays determined I had dislocated my shoulder. The doctor said my shoulder was at my elbow. The pain was excruciating, but once they put my shoulder back in place, it subsided

Once home a few days later, I got winded when I walked, and my entire body hurt. I realized that age does play a factor in falls. I am trying to take it easy, but I was used to walking 3-5 miles daily. I am unable to write long articles on other sites, which cuts into my income. Coffee will be greatly appreciated.
