Center T’s August break is officially over, and our sleepy cats are slowly reopening laptops, remembering passwords, and returning to work.
Our projects are back to their usual rhythm: support groups are running again, Murzik is answering questions, our shelter and Discord are accepting new applications and members, and legal consultations continued throughout August.
And we’re coming back with some very good shelter news ✨
🛏 A new bunk bed for the shelter
Until recently, some shelter residents were sleeping on beds with very thin, hard mattresses. Former residents told us that their backs hurt, and sometimes they could even feel the metal frame through the mattress.
Now things are different 🌈
Thanks to your support, the shelter has a new bunk bed with proper orthopedic mattresses. We ordered it, assembled it, and installed it — it’s stable, comfortable, and, importantly, it doesn’t squeak 💙
It may sound like “just furniture,” but it really isn’t. Being able to sleep properly matters a lot when someone is going through a crisis and needs a safe place to recover.

🍂 We still need your help this September
A new bed is a big improvement, but the shelter’s everyday needs don’t stop there.
In September, we still need support for food, household expenses, and further improvements to the space so that residents have not only a safe roof over their heads, but also decent conditions for rest and recovery.
The shelter continues to exist because people donate, send necessary items, and tell others about our work. Every contribution helps us keep this space safe, stable, and a little more like home. 🏠
