It’s been a quiet week for posting! Sorry!
The week in Souls has been fairly busy though. There was a big update this week with Guilds finally being added. I was invited to Duck’s guild by Trix. I’m happy to join a guild that is run by my two beta buddies. It’s called Kismet and it’s semi-casual. For now the only thing people can do with guilds is form them and do a battle challenge with these weird mimic creatures. There’s three types: purple, red and blue. I will post a photo below of one of them. We’re still figuring out the best strategies for each type. A fourth shop, the Guild shop has been added. Richelle is one of the heroes available. Definitely a hot item to get.
For the first time skins are being added to the game. I’m curious how much they will cost and how many players will adopt them. For now just a Milia and Abala skin will be dropped. I think it will be more interesting when there’s a wide variety of them available.
Souls keeps flooding us or doing cartwheels to entertain us (depending on your view point) with a constant stream of events. As I write this, there are currently four active events in play! The Sanctum Reset is my favourite.
I got lucky in the Deep Forest event and received the statue to pull a light or dark hero. Unfortunately my luck ran dry with a Lilith pull. >:(
The Fantasy Card event is the latest brand new one. Unfortunately it stinks! Rewards are small. The cost is high. The mechanic is boring. Thumbs down from Bucko.
The update also increased Sanctum levels from ten to twelve. A very welcome upgrade along with the ability now to do batch enhancements of equipment. Those are the types of changes we like.
More news of progress coming soon with the next instalment of the Sunday Funday report.
See you in Souls!
