LIVE STUFF:
For our show on Saturday 21st November (tickets here!) we're getting prepared and practicing hard. Since we are mixing territory for the album, our backing tracks require little glow-ups themselves.
We have many backing tracks, bespoke monitor tracks, interlude tracks to be remade!... it goes on and on and on
Honestly, it would be a nice simple job if RORY DIDN'T GET TAKEN OUT BY YET ANOTHER ILLNESS! After spending 4 days in bed being a little, rotting, dying creature, he is feeling much better.
The Flu Jabs are books, immune systems are getting boosted and the vitamins are flowing through our veins - We are certain the we will never be ill again!!! :D
THE ALBUM PROGRESS:
If you saw on our instagram, we've starting mixing! Hearing 1 of the tracks come together has been exciting and although it's still a long way off it's sounding "pretty good"
We're allowing the self-hype. To reach this point we have worked extremely hard. Just another milestone on this absolutely exhausting (but fun) marathon! Yay!!!
Track 7 'Night Watch' vocals are all finished and exported. It was a tricky one for sure. Saying that, Track 8 'Eclipse' is next on the to-do list which is a 9 minute, dynamic song with lots of screaming vocals so no rest and trying to keep this momentum.
ALBUM RELEASE DATE WHEN?!?!
"September/October 2026 release" - Nahhhhh, we NEVER said that... did we?! You're crazyyyyy!!!... Must've been the wind...
Yes, we did say that at the start of the year... but IN OUR DEFENCE, we are so tiny and small uwu (+ we've never done this before)
In all seriousness, we thought it was an obtainable goal but we misjudged it and there's no point in rushing now. Like we mentioned in last months posts, this project is a massive challenge.
Getting to where we are right now is an achievement in itself and we are proud of that. It's just a shame we don't have anything to show for it right now haha! Recently, we've been discussing a "new release date/schedule" but realised that, for now anyway, it is kind of pointless.
We're sorry for not hitting the release date goal we set.
Just know we haven't been twiddling our thumbs and we are doing our best!
This update may be small but trust us when we say a lot of progress has been happening behind the scenes. Kye has been deep in vocal training and has changed their entire vocal regime. This has meant slower progress for now but for HUGE future benefits.
