Bam is my son, a young man. I wrote this book so that he would know how much I love him and how much I wish for him a great life. I am a mother. Not a man that can show him how to be a man.
I wanted to be the first woman that he loves and trusts to let him know that it's OK to cry, feel lost, to fall, be selfish, need space, define what his manhood means for him. All of those things are important to know & understand especially in the age of toxic masculinity.
