Meet your anxiety face to face and overcome it

Sep 16, 2024

Have you ever wondered what your anxiety looks like?

Is it a little gremlin clinging to your back or a storm cloud hovering over your head? Whatever shape it takes, it’s time to get creative and give it a face (or tentacles, if that’s your thing)! 🎨

In this fun and eye-opening art therapy exercise, you’ll:

  • Dive deep into your emotions and bring your anxiety to life with clay, play-doh, or whatever creative tool you fancy.

  • Shape, mold, and craft your worries into something you can finally see.

  • Break it down, piece by piece, literally! Then, poof, watch your anxiety shrink as you reclaim your calm.

For this exercise, you'll need a type of modeling material, such as clay, play-doh, or plasticine, and a few simple tools to help shape and mold it. These tools could be anything from sculpting tools to household items like a spoon, toothpick, or a small knife—whatever helps you bring your creation to life

This exercise is designed to make you laugh, reflect, and most importantly—feel empowered. You’re not just looking at your anxiety, you’re mastering it. 💪
