When Faith and Power Collide: A silent prayer between God and Injustice

What does "life" mean? What is the significance of wisdom, truth, and faith in our lives? When we are surrounded by the darkness of injustice and delusion, who should we trust? Should we rely only on our inner voice, on that silent prayer that arises from the depths of our hearts? This is a question and perhaps a ray of hope.

When the heart becomes silent between faith and order, there is a profound reason for it. Indeed, no one can offer their heartfelt obeisance, or worship, to a power devoid of justice. This state stems from a deep anguish. This anguish is the emotion of one who stands at the crossroads of life, directionless and confused. A deep darkness pervades within, engulfing them equally in both speech and silence. This darkness is not merely a result of external circumstances but also of internal confusion. It is a state where one is unable to fully surrender to God nor express their allegiance to the worldly system, the government. Their heart offers a silent obeisance. A devotion that is free from any external pretension or pressure but rather arises from the depths of the soul.

Such questions about life arise in the mind of every person who struggles with injustice and inconsistency. When worldly power, i.e., the government, deviates from the principles of justice and truth, even the concept of God begins to blur. If the system is corrupt and unjust, how can faith in an almighty be sustained? This is a profound philosophical and social question that has been troubling the human mind for centuries. This pain is felt by the common man, torn between system and faith. He sees that those responsible for maintaining justice and order often neglect their duties. Corruption, nepotism, and the abuse of power become commonplace. In such a situation, whom should he trust?

This state of confusion hollows a person from within. He is unable to openly protest or fully surrender. His heart is filled with a strange emptiness. He yearns for a path, for some truth in which he can have unshakable faith. But the darkness that surrounds him further dismays him. Worship from the heart means bowing down…! When external supports break down, when even worldly and divine powers are questioned, a person has no other option but to look deep into his soul. This inner bowing is different from the formal worship performed at a temple or mosque. It is the true feeling of the heart.

It is a silent acknowledgment of a supreme power that perhaps resides somewhere beyond all these contradictions. It is a faith that transcends logic, one that can only be felt at the level of the soul. But even this devotion comes with a question mark. Is it enough? Can mere submission to the heart bring about any change in the face of injustice and oppression? Or is it merely the last refuge of a helpless soul? It seems that divine and worldly laws are working in the same direction. But when power is devoid of justice, when rulers resort to injustice and oppression, the concept of God comes into focus. This question has arisen repeatedly throughout human history. Religious texts and philosophers have offered different answers, but on a personal level, the pain is relevant. When a person is a victim of injustice, when they see powerful people abusing their power with no one to stop them, their faith wavers. In such a situation, no one can truly bow to power without justice. This statement expresses a profound truth. Power established through oppression and injustice can never command true reverence and respect. People may show outward respect due to fear and pressure, but they harbor no respect for that power within their hearts. True devotion is based on love, trust, and justice.

This feeling forces us to reflect on the meaning of life. What is the importance of justice, truth, and faith in our lives? When we are surrounded by the darkness of injustice and delusion, who should we rely on for hope? Should we trust only our inner voice, the silent prayer that arises from the depths of our hearts? This is a question and perhaps a ray of hope. It reminds us that no matter how dark external circumstances may be, a flame burns within us that never gives up in its quest for truth and justice. This silent prayer is a manifestation of that flame, a prayer beyond words, felt only in the heart. It teaches us that true strength lies not in external display, but in inner steadfastness and unwavering devotion to truth. Perhaps in this inner devotion, we may find a glimpse of the God we seek, the justice we so desperately seek.
