The MND Aware Card is a simple, practical card designed to help people living with Motor Neurone Disease maintain their independence while out and about.
Printed on a durable PVC card and the same size as a standard credit card, it can be easily carried in a wallet, purse, card holder, or phone case.
The card provides a clear explanation that the holder has Motor Neurone Disease and highlights some of the challenges they may experience, including difficulties with speech, standing, walking, and using their arms. It also includes space for personal details and an emergency contact, helping others understand the situation quickly if assistance is needed.

PLEASE NOTE: Although a normal Sharpie permanent marker will write on the card, due to the gloss PVC material the card is made from the ink may smudge or wear over time with handling. For a more permanent and durable finish, a paint marker such as the Edding 780 Paint Marker is recommended, as it provides better adhesion to the smooth PVC surface.
A plastic card sleeve is included with every order and can help protect the card from unnecessary smudging or rubbing of the ink if you choose to write your details using a standard permanent marker, such as a Sharpie.
