Version of You That Survived

Version of You That Survived

Feb 14, 2026

There’s a version of you that doesn’t get enough credit.

The one who stayed quiet when speaking would’ve caused more damage.

The one who walked away even when your heart wanted to stay.

The one who smiled in public and broke down in private.

That version of you carried more weight than anyone ever noticed.

We talk a lot about becoming better, stronger, more successful.

But we rarely pause to honor the version of ourselves that simply survived.

Surviving is not weak.

Surviving is not “just getting by.”

Surviving is strength in its rawest form.

Some days growth looks like discipline.

Other days it looks like just getting out of bed.

Both count.

If you’re reading this and you feel behind in life .. you’re not behind.

You’re healing at your own pace.

And healing is not a race.

Today, instead of asking yourself,

“Why am I not further?”

Ask yourself,

“How did I make it this far?”

That answer matters more.
