Over the next year, we’ll journey together through Scripture — one passage, one breath, one moment at a time — using the ancient, prayerful practice of Lectio Divina.
What is Lectio Divina?
Lectio Divina means “Divine Reading” in Latin.
It’s a way of reading the Bible that goes beyond study or information — it’s about transformation.
Instead of rushing through a chapter or checking off a reading plan, Lectio invites us to slow down, listen deeply, and let God’s Word speak directly to our hearts.
Our Daily Rhythm:
Each episode follows a simple, repeatable process:
1️⃣ Slow Down — We begin by creating sacred space. Breathing deeply, setting aside distractions, and inviting Jesus to meet us right where we are.
2️⃣ Read — We hear the day’s Scripture passage slowly and clearly, letting the words wash over us.
3️⃣ Notice — We pay attention to what stands out — a word, a phrase, an image — and hold it in our hearts.
4️⃣ Reread — We listen again, this time more intentionally, asking, “God, what are You saying to me today?”
5️⃣ Meditate — We reflect on the meaning of the passage and how it connects to our lives right now.
6️⃣ Respond — We pray honestly, speaking to God about what we’ve heard and how we want to live it out.
7️⃣ Exercise — We end with a simple, practical habit to carry God’s truth into the rest of our day. These are small steps — like offering a helping hand, pausing to pray mid-day, or sharing Scripture on social media — that keep the conversation with God going beyond the episode.
Why 365 Days?
Spending a full year with Jesus in this way builds a rhythm of daily connection.
It’s not about perfection — it’s about presence.
Every day is an opportunity to hear His voice, grow in His likeness, and live out His Word in the ordinary moments of life.
