La Famille LeBlanc est un groupe familial acadien du Nouveau-Brunswick, établi sur sa ferme ancestrale au bord de la baie des Chaleurs. Ancrée dans les traditions acadiennes et celtiques, sa musique puise dans un répertoire du XIXᵉ siècle transmis de génération en génération, établissant un pont entre l’Acadie, la Louisiane et l’Irlande.

Les trois filles du groupe jouent du concertina, du whistle et du violon, et ouvrent maintenant un nouveau chapitre créatif en composant des œuvres originales inspirées de la tradition.

Leur troisième album, Amourette, paru le 15 mai, présente principalement des compositions originales qui tissent un lien entre patrimoine et création contemporaine.

Leur mère interprète certaines des plus anciennes complaintes acadiennes en riches harmonies familiales, tandis que leur père, Robin LeBlanc, multi-instrumentiste et héritier d’une longue lignée de violoneux, apporte des arrangements raffinés où se rencontrent influences traditionnelles, baroques et jazz.

Se produisant régulièrement partout au Canada, aux États-Unis ainsi qu’à l’international, notamment en Irlande et en France, le groupe a bénéficié du soutien du Conseil des arts du Canada et de Musicaction, a obtenu plusieurs nominations aux ECMAs, a remporté le prix Artiste acadien ou francophone de l’année aux ECMAs et a également été nommé dans la catégorie Artiste(s) de l’année aux Canadian Folk Music Awards.

Leur travail a également été mis en lumière par Le Figaro pour son apport dynamique au renouveau de la musique acadienne. La Famille LeBlanc a aussi fait la couverture du magazine Irish Music Magazine, soulignant ainsi ses liens étroits avec la communauté de la musique traditionnelle irlandaise.

La Famille LeBlanc is an Acadian family band from New Brunswick, based on their ancestral farm along the Bay of Chaleur. Rooted in Acadian and Celtic traditions, their music draws from 19th‑century repertoire passed down through generations, connecting Acadia, Louisiana, and Ireland.

The three daughters perform on concertina, whistle, and fiddle, and are now leading a new creative chapter by composing original works inspired by tradition.

Their third album, Amourette, released the 15th of May, features mostly original compositions that weave heritage and contemporary creation.

Their mother sings some of the oldest Acadian ballads in rich family harmonies, while father Robin LeBlanc, a multi‑instrumentalist and descendant of a long line of fiddlers, brings refined arrangements blending traditional, baroque, and jazz influences.

Touring widely across Canada, the United States, and internationally (Ireland and France), the group has received support from the Canada Council for the Arts and Musicaction, earned multiple ECMA nominations, won Acadian or Francophone Artist of the Year at the ECMAs, and was nominated for Artist(s) of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards.

Their work has also been highlighted by Le Figaro for its vibrant renewal of Acadian music, and La Famille LeBlanc was featured on the cover of Irish Music Magazine, underscoring their strong ties to the Irish traditional music community.
