For more than six months, I’ve been working full‑time — unpaid, unfunded, and often unseen — to document something that should never have needed documenting in the first place: how major UK broadcasters and right‑leaning media platforms have shaped, filtered, or quietly erased stories that matter to the public.

What began as a simple question — “Why isn’t anyone reporting this?” — became a forensic investigation.

“If they won’t tell the story, I will.”

Day after day, I tracked timelines, archived coverage, analysed patterns, and built a record of what was said, what wasn’t said, and what was deliberately left on the cutting‑room floor.

I didn’t do this because it was easy. I did it because nobody else was doing it.

This work has been carried out from my kitchen table, between caring responsibilities, health challenges, and the normal chaos of life.

 “Documenting what others choose not to.”

It has cost time, sleep, energy, and more than I ever expected to give. But it has also revealed something important: when ordinary people pay attention, the gaps become impossible to ignore.

Tomorrow marks the conclusion of this six‑month investigation — and the beginning of what comes next.
